Updated: Radiohead B-sides go missing from streaming sites

Radiohead fans have been disappointed this week by the sudden disappearance of many of their lesser-known tracks from streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. The removal of the rarities is being blamed on a change of rights ownership, with Radiohead’s back catalogue being transferred from Parlophone to XL Recordings.

Although the band’s best-known albums remain available to stream, the move is reported to have raised concerns amongst some fans about whether future albums will be available to stream.

Update: It seems these concerns may be warranted, with Radiohead’s manager being quoted this week as “praying every night” that lead singer Thom Yorke will allow the album to be released on streaming services.
